Big news for Darren Lynn Bousman's most recent features!

11-11-11 will, in fact, coincide with its doomsdate this Friday as Rocket is releasing the film at Midnight in a slew of cities, which you can see after its synopsis below.

"After the tragic death of his wife and child, famed American author Joseph Crone travels from the United States to Barcelona, Spain to reunite with his estranged brother Samuel and dying father, Richard. However, fate has a different plan for Joseph as his life becomes plagued with strange happenings, and the constant sightings of the number 11. Curiosity quickly turns to obsession, and Joseph soon realizes that this number holds a horrific meaning not only to himself but possibly to all of religion. Isolated in a foreign country with only the support of his companion, Sadie, Joseph soon realizes that 11/11/11 is more than just a date, it's a WARNING!"

Also: Provided a supernatural occurrence doesn't open inter-dimensional gates of evil this Friday, it seems we'll finally get to see Bousman's MOTHER'S DAY remake soon, as Deadline reports Anchor Bay has picked up the film for stateside release. Naturally, it seems, they're looking at a date alongside next year's Mom Day. That film sees a band of bank robbing brothers return to their childhood home only to find it's been foreclosed on, and they've savagely interrupted a party for the new owners, with Mother (Rebecca De Mornay) in tow.
