Available tomorrow, April 22, the long-awaited and highly anticipated LEFT 4 DEAD 2 add-on “The Passing“ will be available on Xbox LIVE for 560 Microsoft Points ($7). This installment will provide players with a crossover encounter between the survivors from the original game and those from the second.

If that blend of personalities isn’t enough, Valve has added new enemies (one being the “infected survivor,” a special character that comes armed with weaponry and health kits) and fresh modes of game play. Also included is “Chainsaw Massacre,” a mode that gives survivors that weapon, unlimited gasoline and swarm after swarm of the Infected Horde ripe for the carving. Just the image of a bloodsoaked screen and meat-laden map should be enough for any L4D fan to charge up their account.
