Brandon Cronenberg, son of David, is making his own way in cinema with a virus film that's seemingly about the sickness of celebrity-laden culture. Get stoked.
The Hollywood Reporter broke that Cronenberg has added iconic actor Malcolm McDowell and Sarah Gadon (who's already acted for the elder Cronenberg in A DANGEROUS METHOD and the upcoming COSMOPOLIS) in ANTIVIRAL.
The high concept sees a society that sells diseases from sick celebrities to obsessed fans, and an infected man attempting to find a cure.
