The recent London riots have spawned a new addition to the
vigilante-shocker subgenre, this one laced with black humor. It’s called MAY I
KILL U?, and some new pics have emerged this morning.
Written and directed by Stuart Urban, whose credits include the supernatural thriller REVELATION, the movie stars Kevin Bishop (2nd photo below) as Baz, a cycling policeman who wears a helmet-cam and sets out on a crusade to deal with the scum of the city—and posts about his murderous activities on the Internet. The supporting cast includes the wonderfully named Hayley-Marie Axe (4th photo below) as Val, a fellow cycle cop with a crush on Baz, Frances Barber, Jack Doolan and Rosemary Leach.
