There’s been a lot of buzz about the horror anthology
CHILLERAMA, which has been making its way across the country in special
screenings and marks a collaboration between four noteworthy indie-horror
directors: Adam Green, Tim Sullivan, Joe Lynch and Adam Rifkin. But there’s a
fifth filmmaker involved who hasn’t been as widely acknowleged, and Fango
tracked down the elusive Fernando Phagabeefy for an exclusive audio chat you
can listen to past the jump.
Phagabeefy was responsible for the DEATHICATION segment of CHILLERAMA, which doesn’t last long but makes quite an impression with its fecal assault on the audience’s eyeballs. He’s also an occasional actor, and this writer had the privilege of cameo-ing alongside Phagabeefy in this year’s “smasher film” SWEATSHOP. Thus it was that while attending a recent New York City midnight showing of CHILLERAMA, I spotted Phagabeefy in the audience and cornered him after it was over for this interview.
