AMC's monster hit will, as expected, return next fall, and Summit's adaptation of Isaac Marion's WARM BODIES will bow in horror's recently hottest month, August.

- AMC revealed after only two episodes into its sophomore season, THE WALKING DEAD will have a third. The series, based on Robert Kirkman's comic has been steadily improving after a faulty season one finale and will hopefully remain on track into the newly announced run. You can see the full statement here.

- Shock Til You Drop reports that WARM BODIES will see an August 10, 2012 release. The film, starring Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, John Malkovich and Lizzy Caplan tells of R, an existentially tormented ghoul who develops feelings for a human girl after consuming the brains of her boyfriend. When she reciprocates, their relationship could bring life back to R and the rest of his undead kind. Jonathan Levine (ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE, THE WACKNESS) directs.
