If your looking for some spooky aural accompaniment to your Halloween season this year, look no further than TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE, the boxed CD set of “audio theater” horror stories just released by Glass Eye Pix. We’ve got some exclusive behind-the-scenes video to show you, including a…um…unique conversation with actor Ron Perlman.

The I SELL THE DEAD star is seen here, along with his HELLBOY films co-star Doug Jones, while doing the “This Oracle Moon” episode of TALES. Larry Fessenden, who spearheaded the series with Glenn McQuaid, tells us, “We were eager to share this video with the fans at Fango. I think they’ll see a different side of Ron Perlman than they are used to…” Adds McQuaid, “We thought we’d roll these production diaries out to document how much fun we had making TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE. Ron Perlman and Doug Jones on a distant moon—what could be better?”

The five-CD set, which includes stories by Fessenden, McQuaid, BITTER FEAST’s Joe Maggio, I CAN SEE YOU’s Graham Reznick, THE BURROWERS’ J.T.
