Paramount Home Entertainment has released details of the DVD and Blu-ray release of SHUTTER ISLAND. The Martin Scorsese-directed psychochiller starring Leonardo DiCaprio has been one of this year’s biggest-grossing films, taking in nearly $126 million as of this past weekend.

SHUTTER ISLAND will street June 8 on DVD (with a 16x9-enhanced widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround sound) and Blu-ray (in 1080p high-definition widescreen with DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio). The DVD won’t have any special features, but the Blu-ray will include “Behind the Shutters,” which tracks the film from the adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s best-selling novel through production and release, with cast/crew interviews, and “Into the Lighthouse,” which explores the history of psychiatric therapies akin to those presented in the film. Retail price is $19.99 for the DVD, $29.99 for the Blu-ray.
