Blue Underground has posted the complete theatrical release schedule for its new version of Lucio Fulci’s classic ZOMBIE. Transferred from the original camera negatives to hi-def and restored frame by frame under the supervision of Fulci's cinematographer Sergio Salvati, the new edition of ZOMBIE also boasts a remastered soundtrack.

The upgraded ZOMBIE premiered last month at Fantastic Fest, and according to reports, fans were blown away by the presentation. The upcoming 36-city tour was coordinated by independent theater booker David Szulkin, who handles big-screen distribution of THE EVIL DEAD, MANIAC and Fulci’s THE BEYOND, among others.

All screenings will take place at midnight, October 21 and 22, except where otherwise noted. ZOMBIE star Ian McCulloch will introduce the film at Landmark’s Egyptian Theatre in Seattle on Friday, Oct. 21 as part of ZomBcon. FANGORIA will present the movie at Toronto’s Revue Cinema on Saturday, Oct. 22.
