If it’s October, it must be time to start getting in shape for the Halloween season’s annual zombie crawls. We just got the details on the NYC Zombie Crawl that, among other things, will host a preview of PUNK ROCK HOLOCAUST 3, and we have a few exclusive pics from the flick as well.

This year’s NYC Zombie Crawl takes place Sunday, October 16, and starts at Beauty Bar (231 East 14th Street), where crawlers can congregate from 4-6 p.m. and get ghoul makeup applied ($5 for the basic look, $10 and up for advanced/gory looks). You must be 21 to enter the bar, but all ages can take part in the crawl when it starts at 6 and proceeds through the East Village, with a stop along the way at the Continental NYC (25 Third Avenue), where there’ll be $10 for 5 shots of anything” special. The crawl will be videotaped for a new music video for Angelo Moore, a.k.a. Dr. MaddVibe (also frontman of Fishbone), who will be performing at the after-party taking place at Arlene’s Grocery (95 Stanton Street). That event begins at 8:30, with tickets priced at $10 for zombies and $12 for living, breathing folks (you must be 21 or older to attend).

In addition to other musical performances, zombie comedy, a slideshow and burlesque, the after-party will include a sneak preview of season two of THE WALKING DEAD, and the premiere of clips from PUNK ROCK HOLOCAUST 3, the latest in the series of musical splatter flicks by director Doug Sakmann; the first pic below shows Dr. MaddVibe with the HOLOCAUST flicks’ signature villain The Executioner.
