After a number of festival bookings, the above-average
Canadian survival-horror thriller THE COLLAPSED has achieved distribution in
its home country.
Anchor Bay Entertainment picked up home video/VOD rights to the movie for Canada, with release planned for early 2012. Written and directed by Justin McConnell, THE COLLAPSED is set after a mysterious plague has decimated the world, and centers on a family dodging both infected and healthy but desperate humans as they make their way toward hoped-for safety. Producing company Unstable Ground is currently preparing special features for the discs, with U.S., UK and German deals to be announced soon.
