Actor-turned-executive-producer Zachary Quinto is getting
ready to roll the fright feature THE BANSHEE CHAPTER this week in New Mexico,
and the three leads have been announced, including an actor who previously
created an indelible screen serial killer.
Ted Levine (pictured), who will forever be remembered as THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS’ “Buffalo Bill” and was also the menacing CB voice in JOY RIDE, among many other notable roles, plays a counterculture novelist with a penchant for substance abuse and firearms. He helps out a journalist (played by Swedish actress Katia Winter) who’s seeking a missing friend (THE HILLS HAVE EYES II’s Michael McMillian) and is led into a world of dangerous government experiments with mind-altering chemicals. THE BANSHEE CHAPTER (which we previously reported on here) is a co-production of Quinto’s Before the Door Pictures, Sunchaser Entertainment and Christian Arnold-Beutel; interactive veteran Blair Erickson makes his feature directorial debut from his own script.
