One director is who he is, and the other is responsible for a METALOCALYPSE. Together, they make an already exciting and insane lineup even more so. 

Jorge Michel Grau, director of the really damn good Mexican cannibal drama WE ARE WHAT WE ARE (see Fango's review here), and Jon Schnepp, co-director of the amazing Adult Swim series METALOCALYPSE (as well as work on AQUA TEEN HUNGER VOICE) are now on board as two of the 25 directors in the upcoming anthology from Drafthouse Films and Timpson Films. 

The two heads of Drafthouse and Timpson offered up their thoughts on the additions with Ant Timpson saying, "Having Jon Schnepp onboard is really going to bring some anarchic diversity to the project. His work on METALOCALYPSE, THE VENTURE BROS. and AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE shows that he is the real deal; a supremely multi-talented guy with a unique perspective and set of skills to match."

Drafthouse leader Tim League enthused, "Jorge Michel Grau won top honors, the 'Next Wave' award, at last year's Fantastic Fest for his feature WE ARE WHAT WE ARE. We are delighted that this visionary filmmaker is joining our already strong roster."

THE ABC'S OF DEATH is a brand new anthology that sees 26 segments each revolving around death and inspired by a particular word that begins with their respective letter of the alphabet. The complete roster is a stunning roll call of some of the most exciting names in horror across the world. 

What's even more, the film is holding a competition in which you can submit shorts corresponding to the letter "T," the winner becoming the coveted 26th director. You can learn more and see the current submissions (including the great T IS TOR TOILET, included below) at the official site.
