The second the highly anticipated pilot for LOCKE & KEY wasn't picked up for series, fans have been clamoring for any peek possible. Well, head below for 2+ minute trailer...

Creator and author of the graphic novels on which the pilot was based, Joe Hill called attention to the fact that someone had uploaded Fox's advertising trailer to Vimeo. Writer Josh Friedman also shed some light warning fans not to get their hopes up, "This leaked L/K trailer was made by Fox for advertisers months ago (obviously before they decided not to pick us up).Nobody should make anything of its presence on the net. I don't know who put it out there. But it is something Fox had shown me long ago."

Still, it's interesting to see the jumping off point for what might've been. I caught the pilot at its special Comic-Con screening and while it didn't exactly capture what's so amazing about the comic series, there was a great, great amount of potential at hand and it's incredibly unfortunate we're not seeing it develop. 

LOCKE & KEY tells the story of Nina Locke and her three children, Tyler, Kinsey and Bode who, after the murder of Nina’s husband Rendell Locke, return to Keyhouse, his old family home in Massachusetts. There, they’re menaced by an evil entity named Dodge that’s determined to hold the family hostage until it gets what it wants.
