The Stephen King-based franchise that will never die stalks onto DVD and Blu-ray again this month when Dimension Extreme and ARC Entertainment release CHILDREN OF THE CORN: GENESIS. We’ve got an exclusive trailer and pics to show you after the jump.

Written and directed by Joel Soisson, GENESIS (streeting August 30) is about a young couple who become lost in the desert and stumble upon a remote compound lorded over by a strange preacher (Billy Drago, in background of 2nd photo below), where a cult worships a sinister entity that may be dwelling within a young boy. The discs will include the “Conversation With Director Joel Soisson” featurette; retail prices are $19.99 for the DVD, $24.99 for the Blu-ray.
