This actress is in final negotiations to play the female
lead in Universal’s R.I.P.D.
According to Variety, Stephanie Szostak (recently seen in DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS) will star alongside Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges and Kevin Bacon in the movie, which RED’s Robert Schwentke is directing from a script by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi. R.I.P.D. is based on the graphic novel series by Peter Lenkov and focuses on a cop killed in the line of duty who is recruited by a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department. He then tries to find the man who murdered him. Szostak would play Reynolds’ wife.
