Wasn’t it just a month or so back that we were reporting on a new screen take on Mary Shelley’s classic novel?
Well, now there’s one more in the works, this one for TV, from a couple of the
folks behind another cranky doctor.
Variety reports that Russel Friend and Garrett Lerner, two of the executive producers of HOUSE M.D., have scripted a modern-day FRANKENSTEIN for NBC and Universal Media Studios. No further story details have been made available. Friend (no relation to the Russell Friend who played the Count in BONNIE & CLYDE VS. DRACULA) and Lerner are tele-veterans with credits also including BOSTON PUBLIC, JOHN DOE, ROSWELL and FREAKYLINKS.
