On September 9th and 10th, if you plan on being anywhere even remotely near the Riverside Drive-In in N. Vandergrift, Pennsylvania with at least $20 in your pocket, you have no excuse not to attend the 5th annual Drive-In Super Monster-Rama. This ghoulishly grand line-up of 35mm prints is not to be missed! 

Don’t let a louse like me tell a decent, rational thinking human being like yourself how to spend your weekend. Let the facts speak for themselves...

Staring at dusk on Friday, September 9th we have: BLACK SABBATH (1963), THE LAST MAN ON EARTH (1963), CASTLE OF BLOOD (1964) and ISLAND OF THE DOOMED (1967). Saturday, September 10th brings: COUNT YORGA, VAMPIRE (1970), I, MONSTER (1971), THE ABOMINABLE DR. PHIBES (1971) and DR. PHIBES RISES AGAIN (1972). 

Again, all 35mm prints! And as an added bonus, an array of vintage exploitation and monster movie trailers, as well as classic cartoons and concession stand adverts, will be presented between features. Admission is $10 per person, per day (little monsters 12 and under are free) and if you’re worried about booking a hotel in advance, forget it! On site camping grounds are offered for an additional $10 per person, per night. This includes breakfast, use of the restrooms and a few makeshift showers (to wash off that previous night's sleaze). 

Now, does anything sound better than a cozy weekend getaway under the crisp autumn stars alongside Barbara Steele, Boris Karloff, Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price? I didn’t think so.
