One week before all of North America cheats death for a fifth time, Montreal's Fantasia Film Festival is hosting a surprise World Premiere of FINAL DESTINATION 5!

Hitting the Scotia Bank Theatre (977 Ste. Catherine West) at 11:55 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, Fantasia presents the latest in the most gleefully macabre series going, with star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood in attendance!

"In FINAL DESTINATION 5, Death is just as omnipresent as ever, and is unleashed after one man's premonition saves a group of coworkers from a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. But this group of unsuspecting souls was never supposed to survive, and, in a terrifying race against time, the ill-fated group frantically tries to discover a way to escape Death's sinister agenda."

Fango had the chance to check out its opening sequence this past weekend at Comic-Con and if the suspension bridge slaughter, as well as the return of Tony Todd is any indication, genre fans should have a screaming good time on their hands.
