Max Martini is the latest addition to del Toro’s PACIFIC RIM cast.
Variety reports that Martini will join Charlie Hunnan, Idris Elba and Charlie Day in the sci-fi/giant monster film, with Travis Beacham set to pen the script. PACIFIC RIM centers on an alien invasion that threatens Earth, and the people who come together to defend it. Martini—who has appeared in the TV series THE HUNGER, HARSH REALM, THE OUTER LIMITS and THE UNIT—will play part of the resistance that fights the alien invasion. The Legendary Pictures production is scheduled to start filming in the fall.
