Fresh from the Comic-Con preview of the horror anthology CHILLERAMA (see review here), for which he directed a segment, Tim Sullivan (pictured) stopped by the FANGORIA booth to say hi and to introduce exclusive conceptual artwork for his next project, HELLIONS, an ’80s-horror throwback Sullivan gleefully describes as “a cross between HALLOWEEN and JUNO.” Jump past the jump to see that art and more details.

Sullivan will serve as executive producer on the project, which will be helmed by longtime associate and co-producer Gavin Heffernan. Written by Canadian screenwriter Pascal Trottier, HELLIONS depicts a night of terror for a 17-year-old girl who must defend herself against an onslaught of hellish creatures on Halloween night. The movie will be produced by Paul Lenart’s Storyteller Pictures, in conjunction with The Clubhouse, Sullivan’s newly formed production company with cohorts Heffernan, Brian McCulley and John Crockett. This will be the second project for The Clubhouse, the first being ONE FOR THE ROAD, a Stephen King vampire short directed by Paul Ward, starring Reggie Bannister and 2001 MANIACS/CHILLERAMA alum Adam Robitel, with a score performed by Fango’s very own Chris Alexander (see art for that one below as well, and read more about it here). HELLIONS is scheduled to begin production later this year.
