The upcoming film adaptation of Joseph Delaney's LAST APPRENTICE series, SEVENTH SON, just got an official release date and the next UNDERWORLD movie has a new subtitle.
Box Office Mojo reports that SEVENTH SON, which sees young Tom Ward (Ben Barnes) become an apprentice to an exorcist (Jeff Bridges), will hit February 15, 2013.
Meanwhile, Coming Soon reports that the next UNDERWORLD is now going under the moniker, UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING. Kate Beckinsale is returning so the title must be referring to the burgeoning puberty of the teenaged boys these films appeal to. In the film (which hits January 20, 2012), Selene (Beckinsale) "escapes imprisonment to find that humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species."
Both movies are being previewed on Friday of next week's San Diego Comic-Con. You can see the schedule and other horror highlights, right here.
