The recently announced NURSE 3D now has a star (and NSFW concept art), and it looks like they've delivered on their promise of "a smoking hot nurse."
V Magazine announced that BOARDWALK EMPIRE and INTO THE VOID star Paz de la Huerta will take on the role of "Abby Russell, a beautiful, dedicated nurse with a sinister side, and a secret life’s work in which she targets and punishes dishonest men." The publication also debuted some striking preproduction art, which will serve as inspiration for the eventual film. The art (below) was shot by Tim Palen, Lionsgate's Chief Marketing Officer and the reason why SAW ads were always so memorable.
The film itself is originally sparked by previous photography of Palen. Douglas Aarniokoski, a veteran first assistant director is set to helm. Mike Paseornek, Lionsgate's president of production said, "In his original nurse photos and the fan conversation that ensued, Tim had clearly scratched the surface of a really great concept – the idea of a film noir depiction of a beautiful nurse who uses her sexuality to very severe ends. That concept was the perfect germ for this thrilling story, which will be extremely visceral in 3D."
This art's already extremely visceral in 2D.
