Guillermo del Toro’s MIMIC is hitting high definition Blu-ray for the very first time.

Starring Mira Sorvino, Josh Brolin and Jeremy Northam, MIMIC is set in Manhattan, where entomologist Sorvino discovers that a mutant breed of insect used to kill cockroaches has survived and evolved into large, gruesome monsters that can mimic human form.

The Blu-ray (priced at $19.99) features new bonus materials created especially for this release, and includes audio commentary and an introduction from del Toro, two featurettes looking at the creatures from MIMIC and a behind-the-scenes retrospective on the shooting of the film, plus never-before-seen additional content including deleted/alternate scenes, outtakes and storyboard animatics.

Lionsgate releases MIMIC on Blu-ray September 27.
