One of the European horror films most deserving of a primo disc release finally gets one when 1973’s HORROR EXPRESS chugs onto a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack later this year. We got the scoop on the specs and the first look at the cover art.

Severin Films releases the disc set September 27, with a hi-def 1.66:1 transfer from the original negative. The special features are:

• “Murder on the Trans-Siberian Express”: new interview with director Eugenio Martín

• “Notes from the Blacklist”: Producer Bernard Gordon discusses the McCarthy era

The Guardian 1973 audio interview with Cushing
