Having won the Best Canadian Feature award at last year’s
Fantasia festival, THE SHRINE, the new movie from the team that brought us JACK
BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER, makes its video-on-demand debut next month. Jump past
the jump for a look at the new poster and trailer.
IFC Films sends the movie out as part of its IFC Midnight line on VOD via Comcast, Cox, Cablevision, Time Warner and Bright House starting July 15. Directed by Jon Knautz from a script he wrote with Brendan Moore, and starring Aaron Ashmore, Cindy Sampson and Jack Brooks himself, Trevor Matthews, THE SHRINE follows a group of journalists into a rural area of Poland, seeking a missing American backpacker and discovering horrific sacrifical rites.
