The crazy folks at Troma sent along word on a new guest and a new film added to the lineup of their 11th annual TromaDance Film Festival. The event, which we first reported on here, runs Friday-Saturday, April 16-17 in Asbury Park, NJ.
Larry Fessenden (pictured), the filmmaker who has become king of the New York-area indie horror scene as both a writer/director and a producer, will take part in the “Sell Your Own Damn Movie!” panel discussion, to be held at the ShowRoom (708 Cookman Ave) on the 17th at 6:15 p.m. Other panelists will be announced soon. And the fest has added the East Coast premiere of writer/director Tom Six’s THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE (FIRST SEQUENCE). The saga of an insane surgeon who kidnaps three people so he can surgically join them to create the title being will be shown as part of the film program detailed in the item linked above. Keep an eye on TromaDance’s official website for more info and updates.
