Pioneering goremeister Herschell Gordon Lewis returns with
THE UH-OH! SHOW, and new filmmaker Justin Russell homages ’70s/’80s shockers
with DEATH STOP HOLOCAUST (pictured). Both are coming to DVD in August, and
we’ve got the scoop on specs and the first look at the covers!
Media Blasters will issue both flicks under its Shriek Show banner. THE UH-OH! SHOW, streeting August 30, centers on the titular TV game show in which contestants win money or lose body parts depending on how they answer questions. The program is investigated by sexy reporter Jill Burton (Nevada Caldwell)—but will she get the story or the saw? The cast also includes THE LOST BOYS’ Brooke McCarter, Krista Grotte from BRAINJACKED (whose producers were also behind this one), CREEP’s Joel D. Wynkoop and 100 TEARS villain Jack Amos, with a cameo by Troma’s Lloyd Kaufman. Presented in 1.78:1 widescreen with 2.0 stereo, the movie will be supplemented with:
• Audio commentary by Lewis
• Audio commentary by the producers
• Audio commentary by the cast
• Behind-the-scenes featurette

In DEATH STOP HOLOCAUST, written and directed by Russell and out August 16, two girls (Lisa Krenisky and Jenna Fournier) set out on a vacation on a remote island, where they first encounter strange locals and are then terrorized by a trio of psychopaths wearing bizarre masks. This one will also be presented in 1.78:1 with 2.0 stereo, plus these special features:
• Audio commentary by Russell
• Audio commentary by Russell and producer Aaron Russell
• Behind-the-scenes documentary
• Stills gallery
• Logo graphics, lobby cards, posters and cover designs
• Trailer
