If it’s got a beat and you can dance to it, plus it has a zombie, we’re there! In the upcoming music video “Greenback Boogie” for the LA alternative band Ima Robot, East Coast makeup FX artist Anthony Jones (THE KILLING OF JACOB MARR, PREDATOR ISLAND, SCHISM) created a ghoul who can bop before he eats you. “I created the full zombie makeup for a segment in the music video,” says Jones (pictured) of the promo clip, which Francesco Carnesecchi helmed. “The zombie was going to be filmed from a top view only, seen in a bathroom biting a man’s arm off and dancing after the act was done. The full appliance took a week to sculpt, mold and cast out of Dragon Skin Pro silicone. I also built a full-silicone cut-off/bitten-off arm and used over five gallons of blood on this shoot!” Jones did not get to party with Ima Robot, however; the band’s scenes were shot in LA.
