PACIFIC RIM, Guillermo del Toro's giant monsters vs giant robots flick (WHAT!) has started casting, and they've found an actor who's experienced in a bit of "ANARCHY."

Charlie Hunnam of SONS OF ANARCHY (and UNDECLARED!) is about to sign on as the lead in del Toro's next picture, Heat Vision reports. 

Awesomely, PACIFIC RIM sees us Earthlings combating an alien invasion with mechas (quite enormous robots piloted by humans). Hunnam is believed to be a pilot of one of the machines. 

We're all happy to see del Toro get moving on something so quick after the unfortunate crumbling of MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS, especially something that sounds like such a good time!
