Warner Bros. and Dark Castle have the eagerly awaited science fiction/horror feature SPLICE hitting theaters June 4, and now the studio’s trailer has hit the Internet. Click past the jump to give it a look!

MSN got the first look at the preview, which allows some tantalizing glimpses of the creature at the film’s center. Directed by Vincenzo Natali from a script he wrote with Antoinette Terry Bryant and Doug Taylor, SPLICE centers on two geneticists (played by Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley) who add human DNA to their latest experiment and wind up with a being that they name Dren, which becomes more human—and dangerous—as it quickly matures. Delphine Chaneac (pictured above) co-stars as the adult Dren, and the creature FX were created by KNB EFX and C.O.R.E. Digital Pictures.
