James McTeigue's murder mystery starring John Cusack as Edgar Allan Poe will hit next year.

The film, now being referred to as UNTITLED RAVEN PROJECT is described as "a gritty thriller in which Edgar Allan Poe (Cusack) joins forces with a young Baltimore detective (Luke Evans) to hunt down a mad serial killer who’s using Poe’s own works as the basis in a string of brutal murders."

Relativity will release the film on March 9, 2012.
