NIP/TUCK and GLEE creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk are gearing up for another dive into darker territories with the upcoming AMERICAN HORROR STORY, which has just added three actors and finally shed some light on its narrative.

Dylan McDermott will join Connie Britton to complete lead couple Ben and Vivien Harmon in HORROR STORY, so says The Hollywood Reporter. The show follows the Harmons as they relocate to the west coast following a miscarriage and adultery. Of course, the San Franciscan home they move into is haunted.

The already-announced Jessica Lange is playing next-door neighbor Constance, whose down syndrome-afflicted daughter is privy to the house’s secrets. TRUE BLOOD’s Denis O’Hare is also among the cast as a previous inhabitant of the haunted home.
