The sequel to last summer’s 3D PIRANHA is currently making a splash on Wilmington, North Carolina locations, and casting details have surfaced for the film, being directed by FEAST-meister John Gulager.

Danielle Panabaker (pictured), from the CRAZIES and FRIDAY THE 13TH remakes, HALLOWEEN II’s Matt Bush, Chris Zylka of the MY SUPER PSYCHO SWEET 16 duo, David Koechner (who previously dealt with ornery wildlife in SNAKES ON A PLANE), Meagan Tandy, Paul James Jordan, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Hector Jimenez, Adrian Martinez and FEAST veteran Clu Gulager are starring, with more cast (including some planned high-profile cameos) to be announced soon. Joel Soisson is producing PIRANHA 3DD with Mark Canton and Marc Toberoff, and rewrote Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan’s screenplay, in which the ravenous fish invade the Big Wet Water Park. Chako van Leeuwen, who’s been with the PIRANHA flicks since Joe Dante’s original, is executive producer, and Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg, who scripted the previous 3D flick, are co-producers on the sequel. Dimension is currently set to release the movie November 23.
