Writer/director Joe Davison, who lensed the upcoming indie horror film AS NIGHT FALLS in Florida, headed for colder climes for his most recent project, FROST BITE. He sent along a few details and some exclusive photos from the movie.

Shot entirely in Alaska, FROST BITE focuses on a small band of survivors after a zombie outbreak has overrun the world. They hole up in an abandoned grocery store that they dub Frost Bite, and have to deal with not only the ghouls but a gang of still-living attackers led by a religious zealot. Davison also co-stars in the movie alongside Cassy Humphreys, Steve Sterling, Stephen Waalkes, Andre Reissig and Cheyenne Buchanan.

Meanwhile, AS NIGHT FALLS, which we last reported on here, just had its world premiere at the Sunscreen Film Festival and is currently out to distributors. Stay tuned for further coverage on both features, and see FROST BITE’s Facebook page here.
