There's a new trailer for ATTACK THE BLOCK, the 100% wonderful directorial debut of UK-writer Joe Cornish!

Executive produced by SHAUN OF THE DEAD director Edgar Wright and co-starring Nick Frost (SHAUN, HOT FUZZ, upcoming PAUL), the film sees “Sam (Jodie Whittaker) walking home in a scary South London tower block when she’s robbed by a gang of hooded youths (led by a great John Boyega). She flees when the gang are attacked by a small alien creature which falls from the sky. While Sam and the police hunt for the gang, a second wave of creatures falls. The gang grab weapons, mount bikes, and set out to defend their turf. But this time, the creatures are much bigger. Savage and bestial, nothing will stand in their way. And the bunch of no-hope kids who just attacked Sam are about to become her only hope."

The Guardian (you can watch it there) premiered the second trailer for the film, which hits UK cinemas May 11. Thankfully, ATTACK THE BLOCK was picked up by Screen Gems for U.S. distribution, although no date has been set just yet.
