The Weinstein Company has announced that it’s pushing back the release dates for both APOLLO 18 and PIRANHA 3DD.
Deadline reports that Dimension’s APOLLO 18, formerly set for April 22, 2011, has been moved to January 6, 2012. Another Dimension release, PIRANHA 3DD, formerly dated September 16, 2011, is now set for release on November 23, 2011.
Directed by Gonzalo López-Gallego, APOLLO 18 is a found-footage sci-fi/horror film about the last, ill-fated landing on the moon. Click here to see the trailer. No trailer yet for PIRANHA 3DD, but it’s a sequel to Alexandre Aja’s reboot and being helmed by FEAST’s John Gulager.
