No, the author isn’t penning a sequel to his 1979 novel, but the scare scribe is in talks to write an episode of a certain TV series involving his old pal Frank Darabont…
IGN reports that at their THE WALKING DEAD panel held at C2E2, Laurie Holden (who plays Andrea on the AMC show) leaked that King is in talks to write a Season Two episode. King has a long relationship with THE WALKING DEAD’s showrunner Darabont, who adapted King’s THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, THE GREEN MILE and THE MIST for the silver screen. Additionally, Jon Bernthal revealed that Darabont won’t be helming the Season Two premiere (he directed SEASON ONE’s debut), but will likely direct a later episode.
