Two more of the After Dark Originals chillers are heading for DVD, digital download and on-demand availability in May. And next month, the SCREAM trilogy makes its Blu-ray debut to whet appetites for the April 15 release of SCREAM 4. Fango got the complete specs on all of ’em.
Lionsgate Home Entertainment releases After Dark’s SECONDS APART and FERTILE GROUND (pictured) on disc/download/demand May 24. SECONDS APART, directed by Antonio Negret (who discussed the movie with us here), is about telekinetic twins (Gary Entin and Edmund Entin from the REST STOP flicks) who use their powers against their high-school classmates and eventually each other, while FERTILE GROUND, from the NIGHT OF THE DEMONS remake’s Adam Gierasch and Jace Anderson, is set in a rural home where a newly arrived couple are plagued by possessive ghosts. Both DVDs (retailing for $19.98 each) will present the movies in 16x9-enhanced 1.78:1 widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtracks, plus behind-the-scenes featurettes, while GROUND will also feature audio commentary by Gierasch, Anderson and lead actress Leisha Hailey.
March 29 sees SCREAM, SCREAM 2 and SCREAM 3 hitting Blu-ray, each sporting new 1080p hi-def 16x9 transfers in 2.35:1 widescreen, with DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio. The extras (ported over from the previous special-edition DVDs, though they’re currently subject to change) are as follows:

• Production featurette
• Behind the Scenes: “On the Scream Set” and “Drew Barrymore”
