Fango has obtained the tour schedule and a few new exclusive pics from the upcoming semi-anthology chiller THE PERFECT HOUSE, which reunites SLEEPAWAY CAMP stars Felissa Rose and actor/musician Jonathan Tiersten. Co-directed by Kris Hulbert and Randy Kent, the extreme movie (see previous item and trailer here) tells three tales of terror set within the walls of the same suburban home: “The Storm,” “Chic-ken” and “Dinner Guest.”

“We are launching a screening and Q&A schedule this spring called the Return to THE PERFECT HOUSE Tour to promote a planned VOD (iTunes/Amazon.com) release of the film October 1, 2011,” Hulbert tells Fango. “Our goal is to prove to the world it’s possible to see the same returns from an initial VOD release as you could with a limited theatrical run.”

Sponsored by Gem Design Jewelers, the PERFECT HOUSE roadshow begins on April 13 in LA and ends April 25 in Philadelphia, with more showings to be announced (see screening list below). “From there we plan to add dates based on results from ‘Demand It Now,’ ” says Hulbert. “Plus, the goal of the Return to THE PERFECT HOUSE Tour is to take advantage of every technological convenience possible while making every aspect of our tour as interactive and ‘user friendly’ to follow as possible. All of our websites will be updated and commented on daily by our cast and crew—not some generic web designer—giving fans direct interaction with us at every turn. We will even take ideas and suggestions directly from our fans to increase the interactive features of the tour.”

A few examples of how this movie tour will be user friendly are the integration of self-printing tickets that can be scanned at the door using a cell phone app, using QR barcodes on T-shirts and publications to make adding THE PERFECT HOUSE on Facebook as simple, fun and easy for followers as possible.

“Our tour page features will be constantly evolving,” Hulbert says. “Podcasts, web series, exclusive clips from the shows, reviews good or bad, message boards, a daily word from a random fan, giveaways, contests and an interactive multimedia map of where we’ve been and where we’re going. At the shows we will have reality booths set up for fans to give their immediate reactions and be eligible for the daily word from a random fan, convenient state-of-the-art ticket check-ins and a cell-phone-required interactive Q&A unlike any other. Every step of our tour will involve taking feedback from the fans on how we can evolve the tour as we go to bring an even deeper user experience. The goal is to give the fans the opportunity to feel like they are a part of the tour well before we reach their city and give them the outlet to stay involved and be a part of the success of not just a film but a franchise long after we leave.”

And, who knows? Those involved or catching the movie may be able join the PERFECT HOUSE action in more ways than one. “We plan to shoot a documentary about the tour and hopeful growth from a small unknown event to a full blown highly anticipated release,” says Hulbert. “The tour will conclude with a live webcasted premiere party from a secret location.”

PERFECT HOUSE tour dates, tickets, clips, reviews and highlights about each show will be on the film’s official tour page here starting tomorrow. “Our goal is to tour the country from now until October 1 and try to add 1 million fans on Facebook that are willing to help us make history.”
