What is Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS? Is it an ALIEN film? An ALIEN prequel? A standalone movie? A Greek mythology tale about the Titan who stole fire from Olympus and gave it to mankind? In a recent interview, PROMETHEUS actor Michael Fassbender claims the picture is, in fact, not an ALIEN prequel, but does “link to that world.” He also revealed who he’ll be playing in the movie, so if you want that spoiled, proceed. EW chatted with Fassbender, who, when asked if he would be essaying an android in PROMETHEUS, responded, “I don’t know what I can say!” He then glanced down at the reporter’s recorder and nodded affirmatively. “I don’t want to get into trouble…”

So it seems like Fassbender will be following in the footsteps of former ALIEN androids Ian Holm and Lance Henriksen. But then again, with so much secrecy and so many rumors surrounding this project, who the hell knows what’s true or not.
