The 28 DAYS LATER director‘s stage version of FRANKENSTEIN, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller, sold out its initial 10-week run at the National Theatre and has been extended until early May. Here’s the trailer for the play, which will be broadcast via satellite live to cinemas globally this March.
FRANKENSTEIN will be broadcast via satellite live in hi-def to 370 cinemas globally on March 17, including 85 sites in the U.S. The play also will be broadcast to the UK and Europe on March 24. For more info, click here. In a neat twist, the two leads have been switching roles from performance to performance. For the March 17 show, Miller will play Frankenstein with Cumberbatch as the monster, then they will swap roles on March 24.
