The cast has been announced for the upcoming North American debut of VAMPIRE KNIGHT, the Gothic-romance animated series based on the bestselling manga by Matsuri Hino.

VIZ Media reports that Yuki Cross, the adoptive daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, will be played by Mela Lee. Veteran anime voice actor Vic Mignogna will play Zero Kiryu, a student who is a year older than Yuki and comes from a family of vampire hunters. And Kaname Kuran, a pure-blooded vampire and the current Head of the Kuran Clan, will be portrayed by Ethan Murray.

VAMPIRE KNIGHT takes audiences to Cross Academy, which is attended by two groups of students: the Day Class and the Night Class. At twilight, when the students of the Day Class return to their dorm, they cross paths with the Night Class on their way to school. Yuki and Zero are the Guardians of the school, protecting the Day Class from the Academy's dark secret: the Night Class is full of vampires!
