The buzz for James Wan’s INSIDIOUS began the second its Toronto Film Festival premiere ended last summer with an incredibly positive response across the board. Its new, full trailer shows that hype looks to be well earned.

Starring Rose Byrne (28 WEEKS LATER) and Patrick Wilson (WATCHMEN), INSIDIOUS opens April 1. Here’s the official synopsis: “When proud parents take possession of an old house, an accident results in one of their sons falling into a coma. The tragedy doesn’t stop there when they are beset by vengeful spirits from another realm in this new chiller by the director and writer of SAW and by the producers of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY.”

The trailer debuted over at Syfy, and you should definitely click through the image below to check it out. It’s excellently done, ramping up apprehension and only giving tiny glimpses at the evil to come. I cannot wait.

If you’re in NYC, you can catch the film early as Fango is giving away tickets to its screening at Lincoln Center’s Film Comments Series! You can also check it out a few weeks early down in Austin at SXSW.
