The WOLF actress is in negotiations to re-team with her BATMAN RETURNS director for Warner Bros.’ big-screen adaptation of Dan Curtis’ gothic vampire soap opera.

Heat Vision broke the news on Pfeiffer, who, if she joins the project, would play Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, the reclusive matriarch of the Collins family that runs the Maine town. The character hasn’t left the mansion since her husband disappeared a decade earlier. The movie is set to start filming in April with Johnny Depp, Jackie Earle Haley, Eva Green and Bella Heathcote already in the cast.
