PSYCHO scribe Robert Bloch’s classic yarn of Jack the Ripper is being adapted to comics again.
The short story, “Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper,” which originally appeared in WEIRD TALES in 1943, was previously adapted by Marvel Comics in 1972’s JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY. TV viewers saw the macabre tale come to life as a 1961 THRILLER episode directed by Ray Milland, as well as classic STAR TREK’s “Wolf in the Fold” episode. IDW reports that the comic was written by BUBBA HO-TEP’s Joe R. Lansdale and John L. Lansdale, with art and colors by Eisner-nominated Kevin Colden. The 32-page issue will hit stands in June.
