This one’s been in the works so long that it was initially announced as a 15th-anniversary disc, but now a special edition of Fred Olen Ray’s EVIL TOONS is finally set for release as a 20th Anniversary Edition from Retromedia and Infinity Entertainment Group. Ray’s answer to WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT features Monique Gabrielle, Suzanne Ager, Madison and Stacey Nix as hot chicks who are hired to clean up an old, apparently haunted house. Thanks to an ancient book delivered by a mysterious man (David Carradine), the foursome unleash an animated beast (designed by the late Chas. Balun) that goes on a rampage of possession and murder. The cast also includes Dick Miller and Michelle Bauer (as husband and wife!) and LOVE AT FIRST BITE’s Arte Johnson. The disc, which streets May 4, showcases a 16x9-enhanced anamorphic transfer with Dolby Digital sound, plus the following extras:
