A U.S. trailer for the latest in Shinya Tsukamoto’s cinematic cyber-series just hit the web (see it here) and now Fango has the release details. Read on to find out where the new TETSUO will be exploding on the big screen.

We got the info that the film (previously known as just TETSUO: THE BULLET MAN) will open theatrically from IFC Films as part of its IFC Midnight line in New York, Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, Columbus and Hartford, CT on Friday, January 21. For those who don’t dwell in those cities, it’ll be available via on-demand Jan. 19. The first TETSUO feature in two decades stars Eric Bossick as Anthony, an American in Japan whose nightmares about the violent death of his son come true, leading him to transform into a biomechanical walking weapon.
