A video “sizzle reel” has just hit the web to promote the horror/fantasy/action movie VIViD, a Zeroinside Films project directed by genre-regular actor Brandon Slagle and currently in postproduction. Check it out, along with a new photo, after the jump.

Slagle also scripted VIViD (which we first told you about here) with Jimmy Creamer, a.k.a. industrial screamcore musician ScreamerClauz, and produced it with actress Devanny Pinn, who co-stars with Slagle. The ensemble also includes Rachel Grubb, Keith Kraft (the flick’s co-producer), Deneen Melody, Barry J. Ratcliffe, Al Snow, Bill Oberst Jr., Brian Renner, Tawny Amber Young, Cece Castillo and Katrina Cheri. The movie, which sports influences ranging from ALICE IN WONDERLAND to INCEPTION, THE CELL, FLATLINERS, ALTERED STATES, JACOB’S LADDER and the anime film PAPRIKA, focuses on a murderer known as “The Man of Sin” (played by Slagle), who reaches beyond the physical world to implant his consciousness into those of others to manipulate them and experience their deaths first-hand. CGI and visual FX are currently being completed, with release targeted for this summer.
