Italian goremeister Ruggero Deodato (pictured) is back in action again, and has apparently tapped another horror veteran for the leading role in his latest film, the oft-mooted CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST II. Find out who it is after the jump!
Sources tell Fango that original LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT villain David Hess will star in the sequel, which follows up on the original story of what happened to a team of New York University filmmakers when they mysteriously disappeared in the Amazon jungle. It’s a reunion of the notorious filmmaker and the infamous baddie three decades after Deodato directed Hess in THE HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK and BODY COUNT. CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST II is a Canadian production, with shooting set to begin in the Philippines as early as spring 2011. Keep your eyes here for further updates!
